With years of experience supporting youth, families, newcomers, and vulnerable residents, Amanda believes strong communities are built through compassion, safety, opportunity, and practical leadership.
She is also the founder of Back 2 Basickz, a community organization focused on empowering Black youth through mentorship, mental health support, education assistance, safe spaces, and employment opportunities across the GTA.
As a certified Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Instructor, Amanda brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work, helping individuals and communities access support with dignity and care.
